We have a live bat living in our outside shed. Been living there for two or more weeks. Really neat opportunity to share this unusual situation with the kids.
We actually had one get into the inside of our house many years ago and it was a very weird experience getting that creature out our door. Wouldn't want to do that again.
I also had one fly indoors one evening, about five years ago, it flew around my study and then into the hall, I looked for it everywhere but never found it. It must have just flown out of the open window in which it came in!
