National PTA Conf

Aloha!

This past week was me in Orlando, FL working the "Hang 10" Booth for AIL at the National PTA Conference. Below are captured moments in time. It was a very successful event and I really enjoyed visiting with my co-workers from around the USA.

Relaxing after a hard day of cleaning

We had a hard day of cleaning and then we chilled by going to Jeb's house for Hamburgers and then home to watch, "Field of Dreams". It was fun just spending time at home everyone.

Billy left the room and when he came back Conner & Sydney were sitting on my lap in the Lazy-Boy. He felt left out so they jumped all over him. I had to get a picture too. See his happy expression on his face!

We got ONE good picture that we took by ourselves. All the others we took about ten someones head was chopped off.

Update on Sydney's Hair

She got her hair cut today and had it straightened. I like it this length. Looks really nice on her. She likes it too! What a cute gal she is and what a cute pose.

Chorus Concert (5/10/2011)

Two times a week Sydney had to get to school early so that she could be in the Chorus. Here are some pictures of her performing.

I thought it was really neat that Conner called to see if Sydney had a performance Tuesday night and if so he wanted to go. Plus Sydney called to see if Conner had a Baseball game or when it was so that she could attend. They are really getting along!

Wacky Tacky Wednesday

Today was Wacky Tacky Wednesday. Sydney's last one in Elementary School. Her last Field Day is this Friday. She had a fun time dressing all crazy.

The Hunt Begins....
Prior to the hunt we did go to church, eat Easter Lunch and read my favorite Easter Story, "The Easterville Miracle" by Melody Carlson. Talked to the children about what the importance of Easter really means. The eggs we were about to hunt represent new birth because Christ arose from the dead.

(4/15/11) Atlanta Temple ReOpen Trip

On Friday, April 15th, 2011.... Sydney, Mom, Tudy, Montez, Pat Elliott, and I went to the Atlanta Temple for a Walk Through Tour of the new building. Here are some of the pictures...

The Family Proclamation was displayed as we went into the welcome tent and people could ask questions. I liked the display so much, that I just had to get a picture.

Dade gets a haircut and bath

Today....We got up and went to PetSmart to get Dade more food and clippers for a haircut. I spent a nice penny on clippers but well worth it because they didn't break and worked wonderful. Should last few years. Makes giving a bath so much easier. It took Sydney and I 3hrs to give hair cut. When we were done there was 2 full Winn Dixie plastic bag full of his hair. I had given him a hair cut before but it broke my clippers so that is another reason why i choose the Ultra Deluxe Heavy Duty Clippers. If we had taken him to get shaved it would have taken $80 plus $30 for bath so 2 times of me using clippers will pay for them. Plus when he gets a bath at Vet he still smells since his under coat is soooo thick.

He looks so HOT in his picture. He looks really old too. Which he is turning 12 yrs old next month.

We gave him a bath after we shaved him. Doing this was so much easier. Sydney said that he looks like a Greyhound.

AFTER

I think he looks nicer (not as mean looking).

I know for sure that he is much cooler! Doesn't look so hot. Used what is called a #10 blade on him which got him VERY SHORT!

Pink Kissing Fish Video

Just had to share this most adorable video that I took when Sydney and I went to PetSmart today. Sydney saw them first and said she wanted some when she gets a fish tank again. That won't happen anytime soon at my house I told her with a smile. No time for that.

Food Dream

Just woke up this morning and realized that I had dreamed last night about working so hard on my diet and then went buck wild one day. Started eating all kinds of food. Have not dreamed of food like that before. Anyone want some mashed potatos? HaHa.
