Trousdell Swim Meet, Last of the Summer

It was the last swim meet of the summer. Sydney had a great time with her friends.

Croquet at The Magnolia Cafe

We played Croquet in the backyard. Sydney had it out earlier in the week and had put the sprinkler on and played in her own rain storm. She talked about how much fun she had planning in the rain. How creative!

Bye Bye Car

Got in wreck. Lady hit us. Car Totaled.... Saying good bye to the car. It had 202,300 miles on it and I got the Honda Element in December 2005 with 21 miles on it. It was my very first brand NEW car.

Being put in a rock and a hard spot or was it just usually parallel parking? Neither even tough it looks like that. LOL.

So we were on Borough Street heading south to Gaines for Tuesday night Swim Meet. We were in the far left lane on a three lane one way road when a lady from the middle lane decided that she wanted to turn left onto a side street. We swerved to avoid hitting in the back but went into a stone wall and then she still hit us on the passenger side as she continued to try to turn onto St. Augustine Road.

We had no broken bones but I have a sprained hip and neck. Sydney also had sprains in her back and neck. I posted this on 8/29 but back dated but to this day, I am going twice a week to the chiropractor because my sprained hip is still not healed.

Canning at Farm

Canning with Tudy at the Farm. I got Tomatoes at church and had them and they needed to get canned so we went to Tudy's on Sunday and she helped. Thought it would be a fun time to spend together doing. Gam-Mommy came down to help. We also got pears at the house across from the Calhoun County Jail and canned them.

Dothan Swim Meet

This was the first swim meet that Sydney got to go with a friend the night before and then I met her there the morning. We had a great time. After the meet we went to the Red Elephant and then to the Swim Park where there was this huge slide and fun luge to go down.

Organized the Kitchen

The kitchen was packed full of food and their was no more room. So, something had to happen. I got it organized! Yeah! It was fun but hard work.
